Beats Music subscription Internet radio service launches with iOS app - Beats Music throws its hat into an already crowded ring occupied by existing services like Pandora, Spotify, Rdio and Apple's own iTunes Radio. The newcomer is moving in a different direction, however, with a subscription-only pay structure that looks to stand out with better content discovery.

Apple announces iTunes Radio for iOS 7, Mac, PC & Apple TV: "iTunes Radio will be part of Apple's forthcoming iOS 7 mobile operating system, but it will also be accessible on Macs, Windows PCs, and even the Apple TV set-top box."

There are probably a lot of unhappy people at Pandora right now, but let's remember that not everything that Apple does in the music space pans out. The social network that was built on top of iTunes comes to mind. Can you see the future? Not I.
